A sobering comment. And a reminder that there is ultimately no grey area - you are either one who loves Christ (because he first loved you), and who therefore longs for his appearing, crying, 'Maranatha' - 'Our Lord Come!', or you remain under the curse of sin and death and the wrath of God.
All of Paul's talk of love in 1 Corinthians should not lead us to a sloppy relativism, where we think loving someone means you ignore their rejection of Christ and say, 'God accepts you as you are.'
