John 8:12-30
How do you know when someone is following Jesus? Is it possible to think you are following him but in reality you are walking in darkness? I want to walk in the light. I want the light of Jesus to be so bright in my life. And yet, many times I find that I don't want to do my part. I don't want to smile or be friendly or strike up a conversation for fear of looking stupid.
God help me to walk in your light. Help me to realize that life isn't about me. I've already found your life, or am continually finding it, and now you are asking me to give it away to others as I find it. Help me to want to give it away. It's just too comfortable being selfish and focusing on my own life and safety. help me to get over myself.
