Value of God's word in our lives
Wisdom and instruction, the things contained in God's word, are the one absolutely essential thing. We are to hold on to wisdom with everything we have. It's not something we add to our life if we happen to have the time; as it says here, Wisdom IS OUR LIFE. A good way to have enough time to devote to wisdom is to stay away from the path of the wicked. The writer says this 6 different ways in this passage; maybe it's important.
