A lot of abiding here. Remaining. Different translations use different words. But they mean the same. Jesus is trying to get His point across- strongly! He says it over and over in a little different way, so we'll get it!

Tammy Wynettes song 'Stand by your man' could be turned into a Christian song 'stand by your God!" Stay...remain..,,abide...reside sustain, continue.....
In other Words keep on keeping on! Don't give up, in or out.
The big difference in Tammy's song and the song I would sing, is that my God is not unfaithful. He Is into monogamy. I can trust Him. He has made a vow to me He will honor and keep! We've made vows to Him too! Together we bear fruit. Apart from Him, we cannot bear anything! If we remain with God we WILL be fruitful and multiply! We will make other baby Christians!

He stands by us! He keeps His Word! Will we stand by God and keep ours?
