Habakkuk II (Groeschel)
In the second of his "Habakkuk" Series, Craig Groeschel recaps the horrible news given Habakkuk by God. What do we do when we are in a position that we don't like or in a time where we don't understand God? What do we do when we are in "The Dip"? In the 2nd chapter of Habakkuk, we're given clues of things we can do during these times. 1) Stop and listen. Be prepared for the answer whatever it may be. 2) Write it down. It's easy to forget the answers and the "anchors" of God when we don't record what we sense from God. (Thank you, youversion) 3) WAIT- We don't like to wait. We may have to wait, but he has his purposes in our lives. His delays are not his denials. The Hebrew word for "at a fixed time" is "Mo-ade". It is God's time. Habakkuk had to wait until the next generation for God to act. But while we wait, we serve. We trust in God and "live by faith" that God will be true to His Word. Read Hebrews 11, the "faith chapter".
