Though this portion of scripture is in description of a man by his wife, it can be taken for any relationship by marriage. In today's world, Satan has made divorce seem "okay", but it's not by any standards. Marriage is a bond in which most people seem to take for granted and if things get even a little bit shaky, divorce seems to be brought up in some aspect. This portion of scripture also show the passion that someone may have in their relationship. It's the kind of passion that makes them remember everything, from the first kiss, to the final breath. I actually appreciate this section very much because it shows that in God's word, there are real-life situations just waiting to be seen and heard. I know that I will live out the ideals of this scripture and always make sure that when I marry, they are the one that God wanted for me...after all, He does have pretty good taste.
