Day 5 - Genesis 11:1-9
Verse 6 - I usually look at modern technology, medicine, industry, etc., as things we do because God has gifted us to do them. As I explain to my kids, God didn't build the buildings, but he made the men who did and gave them the ability to do so... This verse forces me to look at man's intelligence in a different light. There's definitely a negative connotation here. It also makes me wonder what we, as the human race, might have accomplished (both good and bad) if God hadn't taken this action.
