Paul addresses all of us as stewards, not just servants, of Christ.
Paul again addresses pride.
Sometimes our abilities and talents are self produced and not from God.
Anything we have is from God and we are to be good stewards of what He has given us.
Grace leads to gratitude. Grace has a leveling effect. Grace leads to humility.
Boasting and pride lead to an attitude of "I have arrived".
Paul's Theology - ALREADY but not YET
➞ 1 Corinthians 1:5 - "For in Him you have been enriched...."
➞ 1 Corinthians 12:13 - "...were all given the one Spirit..."
➞ Ephesians 2:1-10 - "...and seated us with Him..."
Signs of Satisfaction
● There is a LAPSE in our devotional life. Matthew 5:6
● We LOSE our passion to worship God.
● The LONGING to serve God diminishes.
☞ Stewards serve, satisfied Christians don't.
● We become LAZY in our relationships.
"Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich!" Really?
