The Dark Before The Daylight
These scriptures hold a dear place in my heart. It was not so long ago not even a year that the affair had taken place and I was asking why? Now? I say Thank you. It is during this time Christ temporarily removed my husband from life so I could grow in Him. And boy, did I grow!
With my husband I loved God, but with my husband gone that's when my affair began. With Christ. And since then we have been seeing each other. Through the tears, despair, loneliness and even homelessness I rested in Him. He worked on my behalf. He restored my joy in the morning. But more than anything the greatest thing was learning to forgive. He taught me how to extend grace and mercy to those who had hurt me. It was the greatest love-affair! :) - CD
