Fascinating example of a model for interpreting scripture, this given by the Apostle Paul himself. We see him clearly calling out that a particular passage is to be taken figuratively, not literally. He then goes on to explain the meaning, using cross reference of other scripture to amplify the point. Well done, and a great model.
