Living Expectantly: On the Look Out!

Joseph of Arimathea stepped out of his comfortable secure role as a respected member of the Jewish Council, and stepped up to ask for the body of Jesus.  Why would he do that?

The "Message" states:  "He was  one who lived expectantly, on the lookout for the kingdom of God."  When you live like that, you're ready to take risks because what you are on the "look out" to find is so compelling when you find it.

So, be on the "look out" today.  Live in an attitude of expectation that the Kingdom of God may just reveal itself to you "unexpectedly."  Take more risks to find the Kingdom.  Take more risks to reveal the Kingdom to others.  This "Kingdom" is the place of God's supreme presence and purpose.  You know you're in the Kingdom when you have friendship with King, and you serve his purposes, rather than just your own.

The result is an exciting, fulfilled life of adventure.
