What a great leadership verse!

David knew three things...

1 God had made him King, not man, not a committe.
2. God had blessed him greatly.
3. God did all this for the sake of the PEOPLE.

Every leader needs to remember it is for the sake of God's people that you are raised up. Serve the Lord and serve the people.
