Adam, the first man that God created on earth, brought forth death, by way of sin.  We were separated from God at that very instance, which is what death is...

Jesus, came to earth as a man, just like us, yet still God the Son, took account of our iniquity.  He died with that iniquity on Him, so that we could return to life, which is our relation to God...

Let us give thanks to our Lord Jesus, for bringing us back to life!
