Meet God. Grow closer to Him. Serve Him.
People that are going to church have been "called out" of the darkness of the world. In Mark chapter 3, the apostles left everything in order to walk with Him. You cannot walk with Him and keep everything He wanted to call you out of. It does not work. Being spiritual with God means sometimes having to give up the people you used to hang out with.
Influence is impacted by proximity. You have to be close to Jesus to walk with Him and grow with Him. In small groups you can get encouragement and give it discussing where you are in your spiritual journey with Jesus. We are not supposed to do this alone. Christianity is not a solitude religion. We are meant to do it with one another. There are 55 one another new testament verses.
Not everyone will be sent out to cast demons, but God has bestowed you with some gifts that you can use to serve Him. You need to find out what He wants you to do. We all have to serve Him.
