Use Adversity to Stimulate Creative Survival

Luke 16:1-9 Story of the crooked Manager

Wow... Talk about looking at the glass half full. Jesus points out a how even a crooked manager knows how to be clever and make the most of a bad situation. No, he doesn't want us to be crooked in our dealings, but He does want us to learn a lesson from this example.
When faced with adversity we often complain or give up or worry. Instead of looking at what we don't have or focusing on the problems we face - we ought to look for opportunities that arise in the midst of adversity!!! There are so many options we miss when we fail to stop, pray and look at being creative with what we have.

Today I face many challenges... What can I do TODAY to make a difference? How can I impact Gods kingdom even though I may have made a mess of my life? What ways can I serve God and act on His love to invest in eternity?

"Father show me the opportunities all around to bless others, to further Your Kingdom, to be creative with what I have in whatever situation I'm in. Thank You! In Jesus' name, Amen"
