The Jesus Element: Authority
When studying and researching this scripture I realized that we cannot just recognize Christ as supreme; we have to accept his authority as that supreme being meaning that He not only has supreme power but has supreme power to command. Many people say, "I believe there is a God" but how many of those respond, react or live by God's commands or statutes? The element of Authority has to be recognized and heeded. He has the power...you have to say that like He-Man...come on..try it. Anyway, Jesus has authority as listed in the scripture passage over all things, visible or invisible. He has that power to command.
