Why Do We Preach Being a Follower Make Everything Better
There is this lie I think that we as the body of Christ have put out there, that if you become a follower of Christ it makes your life rainbows and unicorns. A life that is dedicated to following Christ is hard and even arduous. But it is super natural not natural and anyone who leads a super natural life is doing hard things by stepping out in faith which is hard and seen here even sorrowful. But not regretful, there are no regrets leading a life that is lead by Christ. Stop the misdirect, that life is grand as a Christian like Willy Wonka's chocolate river, teach the truth that at times it will be sorrowful but ultimately it will lead to a full life with no regrets and no asking yourself, if I had only.
