I like these verses. They really lift me up. I like how they say what we are not what we are going to be. I think we need reminded of who we are. So much Christian teaching (mine included) is all about becoming something else, instead of reminding us of who Jesus has already made us. I think by remembering who we are, we live more like that.

So all you God loving, Jesus freaks out there remember that you are a holy priesthood right now! You are a living stone that God is using right now! You are being used to drag people out of darkness and into His light!
