Yes, the Devil is after you. He wants to destroy your life. He dosen't care how he does it either. He is not picky. Whether it be drugs, immorality, hatred, or even complacency, or lack of faith, or worry, or envy...he don't care. As long as you are ineffective for God.
But verse 9 says to resist him. How? By believing and obeying God's Word. Put on the whole armor of God as explained in Ephesians 6.
