George Carlin, Comedian/Philosopher/Social Commentator passed away. I watched his "Religion is Bulls**t" clip on Youtube. Near the end he states "...in fact, let me up the ante. If there is a God, let him strike me dead ..." The thing George didn't realize until now is that God doesn't have to prove Himself to us. He doesn't owe us anything and that is what Grace means. Sadly, the image of clay in the hands of the Potter won't make sense to arrogant and prideful hearts.
George's life was full of pain and he literally died of a broken heart. It's not an easy thing to admit that God might exist and that He might have something personal to say to each one of us.
