What It Takes To Be Blessed
How many times have you heard someone pray, "Lord, bless so and so?" or maybe you've prayed that yourself. Is asking God's blessing wrong? I don't think so, but I don't think we can ignore the fact that those who want to be, and those who are blessed by the Lord, they are the same people that not only read and remember what they read, but take the next step and apply it to their lives. Blessed people live right, keep His commands and seek after God with all their heart (not just the amount they're willing to spare at the moment). That's God's plan, if only it was always mine. Pray verse 5: I don't ever want to stray from your laws. (CEV)
