David seemed to be a very able guy but here we can see why, he constantly looked to his creator for help in many areas: contempt, life, shame, hope, comfort, persecution and many more. Look throughout these passages to see if you can find areas that you would like Gods help with. Then join in with David in asking God for help. He is faithful to do so!
