Fruitful Visits
What kind of church body would we have if we had the desire that Paul mentions in these three verses (10-12). His goal when he prayed for an opportunity to be with the believers in Rome was to impart growth in their Spiritual walk.
If our goal was to see others grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ the church would see the kingdom growth potential the world has been waiting on. Paul knew that, in this environment, not only would he see "others" grow, but he would be imparted a spiritual blessing, himself. If we could have this mindset when we assembled together - what kind of church would we have? What kind of impartation would we inherit? We would have to make sure the roadways were clear because people would be running to our churches.
A healthy church is a church that is growing. An exciting church is a church that is giving. A blessed church is a church that is serving!
