Labor=Beating

"and our labor would be in vain" I strongly disagree with the use of the word 'labor' for the Greek word 'kopto.' This word is more apt to be translated 'beating' since it speaks to the nature of their labor--that it was persecution from those seeking to keep Paul from helping the Thessalonians grow in their faith.
