No Capes!

Remember in the movie, The Incredibles, when the superhero costumer designer told Mr. Incredible, "No capes!"?
An ephod is a cape.
Gideon should have never made this ephod; it put him and his family in a position they should never have seen. Memorials are only supposed to be used to remind us of what God has done, not what we have done. Self promotion will ALWAYS get you in trouble. The cape said, "Look at me!"
