Are You Worthy?
Have you ever tried to prove yourself to someone - maybe to get a job, a date, a position? You sacrifice whatever comfort it takes to be considered worthy of being selected - maybe you moved, took a pay cut, quit one thing with no guarantee of the next. Following Jesus is like that - He needs to know, we need to know, if we can live up to His expectations. Love your parents less then Him? It's easy to say so, but harder to do it - but will you? And take up your cross? Again, easy to say we'll do, but there's plenty of times many of us won't even pick up our Bibles to read, let alone our crosses to suffer. So, are you worthy just in your mind, or would Jesus agree based on what He's seen in your life? The choice is ours.
