I love how in v 16 Daniel goes to the king to set an appointment BEFORE actually having the answer. Then he goes to his Godly friends.... shares the story and they take it before the Lord for the answer.... who obliges in vs 19. And of course they praise God for His faithfulness.
How often do I run up against far less devastating news (my death) and just fold under pressure or seek anyone else's advice and direction thank my Lord. Very short and sweet lesson to remember.
