The Nations

A song called "You Said" by Shane and Shane has a stanza saying "Ask and I'll give the nations to you!" This song, or really only these few words have really been speaking to me a lot lately. I thought to myself, "how many people would have the faith to ask this and believe it would actually come true?" then I read the scripture and realize that God was talking to David after he promised that his only son, Jesus would come from Davids line of descent. As a child of God (The King of Kings) I have to realize that everything is his to give away, and that we must be able to have the faith necessary to move forward in Gods plan for out life.
