Choices

So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. (Romans 5:18, 19 NASB)

Some individuals can use these verses to assume that we all eventually get to heaven (I'm not a universalist), but they are taking the essence of God out of the equation when they feel this way about these verses. We are born into a sinful world with a sinful nature not by choice because the original "Man" decided he didn't want to obey God. We are suffering because of one man's choice to taste of a fruit. God created us all with free-will so he can have a relationship with people and not puppets so Adam made his choice and we now have to make a choice. God will not force Jesus on us (even if some people may try) because God wants us to make the choice to allow Jesus into our lives. We are separated from God by one man's choice, but we all have to make a choice individually to be joined back to God. Even though Jesus died to bring justification to all, justification only comes through faith by ms king the choice to believe Jesus came as God's son to die for our sins.
