The Sceptre of Judah

Prophecy of the coming Messiah:
The scepter or judgement came from Judea until it became a province of the Roman Empire. This happened exactly at the time of the birth of our Savior. It was then described as one of those provinces, and as being liable to pay tax, Luke 2:1. They lost the ability to inflict capital punishment at that time.
