ACT LIKE A KID!

I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Toys R Us kid, there's a million toys at Toys R Us that I can play with, from bikes and trains to video games at the biggest Toy store there is, I don't wanna grow up cuz if I did, I wouldn't be a Toys R Us kid.
When I was growing up, my mother would not let me sing that song (cuz she was and still is a SUPER SAINT), but in this passage we have to remember what it is to be a child.
Mark 10:15 says, I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it...
Growing up, I had no reservations, fears or doubts when it came to things that I needed or wanted. I always expected that it would be provided for me from my parents. They always had all the answers so I trusted them with everything. Anytime there was a needed, I leaned on them and they came through,no matter what it was. I'll be honest and say that I didn't always get what I wanted, but they got what was best for me. They would even sacrifice to get me things. I remember vividly in October of 1991, my parents bought me a Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Not because I needed, but just because I wanted it. It was $199! (that was a lot back then). I was so grateful, I became the most obedient, "whatever you need I'll do it" child I could be. Mostly because I didn't want to be punished and not have the privilege of playing my Super Nintendo.
God sacrificed a little more than $199 for you and me...He gave his own son's life! Just like me in my childhood, God wants us to receive His Kingdom in that same manner. With a thanks, with praise, knowing that our hear is totally for Him because He's given us a gift that's better than anything else we ca receive here on Earth. he wants us to lean and depend on Him for everything. Just like little children who run and tell their parents their fears and problems, God wants us to come to Him that way, because he DOES have the answers, and He knows exactly what we need and when we need it.
Today you might be in need, or worried about a situation, or just need to talk. Remember how it is to be a child and tell God everything. Cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you!
