what constitutes greed and self-indulgence
My fear is that by simply asking the question I am implicating myself as one who engages all to regularly in those two. The problem with both greed and self- indulgence is that they center around ME... They violate "love others..." because there is no room left for others. It is fine to claim to be religious by the way we act, but it's another thing for our inside thought life to reflect it...
Man, how much do I spend of my time consumed with increasing my fame and my influence rather than Gods?
I need to sit on that question a bit - this is a tough part of scripture...
