the coolest thing .. ever
Tonight I was talking to a girl I know on facebook, just this girl I kinda know, we're not exactly like best friends or anything. We just don't have too much in common. But it's amazing how two people trying to live for Christ can suddenly connect because they have the Savior in common! We had this long, intense, amazing conversation, and we kept referencing back to Romans 12. She was talking about how we are all one body of Christ, and how she just doesn't have the people from her church, and I don't just have the people from mine. We get caught up in our "own church" stuff. And I was like Whoa, I never thought about that before. She's totally right! Sometimes we play this "this is my church and that's your church" game and we forget that there ARE other Christians out there with the same struggles, goals, and passions as "our church". We just have to find them and create a network. It's difficult because if they don't go to your church, then the subject of God is alot less likely to come up. But maybe it should come up more! So we can be free to sit around with "other church" Christians and we can all be on the same level and freely discuss what's going on in our spiritual lives and we could build each other up! WOULDN'T THAT BE SOOO COOL?!
