I'll Get It Tomorrow
We all live like tomorrow is guaranteed, don't we? Oops, I didn't pray today and I forgot to life-journal. Oh well, I'll go at it double time tomorrow. Right? Sometimes those days turn into weeks, maybe months. The more time we spend without our hearts and minds focused on God, the more time Satan has to invade those places. I bet Satan sits back and licks his lips on days like those. He know if he can get us to "forget" one day, he's in a better situation to get us to forget all-together.
24:13 is what I needed today. I have to stick with it. It's not a choice or a "maybe I should" kinda thing. It is as it is written. "that's what God requires." Times get rough and Satan will throw in many distractions, but if we stay focused on His Words, on Him, til the end, we surely won't be sorry.
24:42 is kind of like the tag at the end of 24:13. We do all of this because we never know when He will return. God tells us here not to take advantage that we'll have time to "make up for it" tomorrow. I pray that I'm ready...all day...every day!
