The world is in love with itself. Self: being the key word. Spring break is the motivator in the High School and College years and dinner parties in the older years. It is common for man to clean up his act on the outside in hopes of being accepted by his or her peers. Here in 1 Timothy 4:8 we find that godliness will be of better use than L.A. Fitness clubs. After putting God first in your life, you will also want to take care of the temple that he has created for you. We all want to be accepted but we must first seek the only acceptance that matters; Jesus Christ. He has accepted us completely as we are and loves us unconditionally. I read a book where a missionary went to a poor Russian village and witnessed to them about Christ. The missionaries were saddened to see the condition of these poor people. The women did not shave or bathe and the men did not take care of themselves either. Soon after accepting the message of Jesus Christ, there was a huge increase in their outward appearance. This was a result of the joy and acceptance they had found in Him. Jesus loves you.
