Comment concerning Jesus as The Word (for nards656)

Nards656, I read your comment concerning Jesus named The Word and I wanted to point you to supporting scripture in Revelations where we find Jesus named after his title, The Word. Read Revelations 19:11-16. There you will find that this is one of Christ's many appointed names.

I grew up Jehovah's Witness and when I came to Christ, one of the first things I asked the Lord to show me was where in scripture does He show that he exists as a Triune God... The Holy Spirit directed me to these scriptures (Revelations and John) so that you see that Jesus is God, as well as God the Father and the Holy Spririt. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1).

Revelations 19:13 reads "He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God." (read the pretext and post text as well to know that the author, John, is speaking about Jesus).
