Called
It hit me as I read this chapter that God had called Bezalel and Oholiab previously in Exodus 31:1-6, and in Exodus 36:1-2 we see that they obey His call to build the sanctuary. I've read this book a couple of times now, but this third time I really could "see" Bezalel and Oholiab's obedience to His call.
How often does God call us to work in His service and we either don't hear it or we hear it and ignore it? God tells Moses to tell these two men, and these two men obey. Doesn't this happen in the Church today? Doesn't your pastor or someone in leadership ask you to use your skills for the work of God's church, probably because God has told him to ask you?
