Reality Dawns

David is coming face to face with reality.
Compare this Psalm to Psalm 18v46 as seen in a previous note.
David has seen God, now he begins to come to grips with the reality of himself. The whole of this 51st Psalm is an expression of the revelation to David of the journey of discovery that he is making about himself.
