A Door (possibilites) With Two Keys (conditions)
Here is a HUGE door of Faith! We can open it if we have the two keys. If we're abiding in Him, and His Words are abiding in us, we SHALL ask what WE WILL, and it SHALL be done! Jesus said it; not me. And He wouldn't have said it if He didn't mean it.
There are times that I pray, "Lord, if it be your will, please do such and such..." Because I really don't know how a given situation should be resolved. And I just ask Him to let His perfect Will be done. But sometimes this kind of prayer is a cop-out, I think. If we're abiding in Him, and His Words are abiding in us, then our will is going to be aligned with His Will, and we're not going to be wanting to ask for anything that is outside His Will.
Jer 15:16 -- Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
Eat it up!
And then ASK!
Mat 21:22 -- And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
