2 men shall lay in one bed....
Remember Jesus also said this - Luke 17:34 "I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left," Which sounds strange only because it doesn't mean what it first appears to mean. The two men are you or me - one person.
I believe this is what the ritual of the circumcision foreshadowed....When the multitude heard or when someone reads this passage, Matthew 5:48 "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect," they are cut or circumcised and the inward man is "born." I look at Matthew 5:48 the same way as when God said "let there be light." He wasn't asking the multitude to perform the impossible, Jesus was declaring it into existence.... Hence the verse John 15:3 "Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you."
Another example of a circumcising verse would be this - 1 John 3:8 "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." No flesh can survive this.... which is the beauty of the law - It equalizes all of us.
And these two verses describe, with more detail, the "two in the field" secret - 1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (the flesh man born of Adam)
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (the inward man born of God by the word or truth)
Remember after Jesus commended Peter - Matthew 16:16 " And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven."
7 verses later look what he says to Peter - Matthew 16:23 "But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men."
Ecclesiastes 4:15 I considered all the living which walk under the sun, with the second child that shall stand up in his stead.
Matthew 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
It's glorious
Remember what Jesus said, Mark 4:12 "That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them."
This also leads to an even more incredible truth directly related to the title of this thread once you see this concept...This revelation will be saved for that time...Soak this in...
There are many things still hidden that are being revealed.....Thanks again - michael144
