I think sometimes the most simplest instructions or commands can be the greatest. Here it says to fear the Lord and by doing so, it is the beginning of knowledge. So by respecting (fearing) the Lord we begin to understand/gain knowledge in how to make decisions, prepare, and live a life without fear. We are always consumed with finding the answers to our problems and we never take the time to realize that Jesus has all the answers. We might never understand or find out sometimes what the answer is, but Jesus always has everything in His control.

I don't know about you, but I can gain all the knowledge I can get. So if by trusting and fearing the Lord I can start getting some, sign me up!
