If you plan on bringing something in, you have to take some things out. If you dont you will accumlate things not needed. Confront it and handle the problem before it affects your life. Sometimes we boast on things we shouldnt and then dont say a word when we should. You have to do more than pray! If God has done for you more than anyone us, why give them power. When we allow things not to be dealt with it starts a bigger problem and it only takes a little bit of mess/ old stuff to start it. Dont think you will not have new sins, but you should have taken care of the old ones... The only way to receive something new is to get rid of the old stuff. Some folks are down because they still holding on to the old stuff. Become more sincere in the new year. If we become sincere then you will begin to prioritize whats important to you, ie how can i better serve the Lord! Remember to praise God for the things you have gone through because it should have made you a better person. Let go. If you want sometime in the New Year you got to do something different, clean out the old things. Try the Bible to help you get healthy. The Lord doesnt ask for much, we only think he does because of our laziness. Imagine if God brushed us off. We have to learn how to become better dilligent servants of God. This New Year have a new attitude for worship! So clean out the old leavens and become a new lump.
