Created to do good works
This is not one of those optional things. This is what we were created for...to do good works. This verse challenged me today. I need to be more intentional about doing good, about helping those around me, about being relational with people. As a teacher, I can get pretty burnt out being relational with kids. But when I focus on the doing good, when I look upon my primary responsibility as creating relationships with these kids so I can be a positive element in their lives, I feel fulfilled and re-energized. This verse is a great reminder of that calling.
