--Chapter 4--
Paul says he is not judged by men, but by God.
God will expose the motive's of men's hearts.
Paul gets on to people for boasting, asking them if whatever it is that they boast about, if they did not receive it from God.
Paul tells the Corinthians that because they have no church father, no one to guide them in the way of Christ, he is sending Timothy to them to lead them.
Paul says (Verse 20) "the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power."
--Chapter 5--
Paul has heard that there is great sexual immorality within the church body. Paul says not to associate with someone who calls themselves a brother but is sexually immoral. (Paul says that these sins will spread throughout whatever body they are a part of) Paul says that the church must judge those inside of itself, and God will judge those outside the church.
--Chapter 6--
When members of the Body have a dispute, they are not to take it before one outside the Body, but the saints of the Body. We (the Body) should rather be wronged or cheated than appear defeated and divided before unbelievers. When quarrels among the Body happen in front of nonbelievers, the Kingdom is not advanced.
Paul gives a list of sins that the Corinthians had committed and been cleansed of.
Paul tells the church that (V13) "the body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord..."
You yourselves are members of Christ's body. "Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitue? Never!"
Verse 18-20: Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
you were bought with a price. Therefore honor God with you body.
