Peter and Judas
Interesting verses with many different interpretations base on different theological bent.
However, I was thinking maybe we can have some insights by looking at Judas and Peter. Both denied Christ. Both have a taste of the truth, you might speak. One ended horribly and the other became one of the key apostles. It seem Judas' heart is harden while Peter's is not. Instead of looking at these verses or verses similar to it only, we would balance it with looking at Peter's life who adamantly denied Christ 3 time.
I am sure there are more differences between Judas and Peter and the Heb verses. Still thinking...
