Truth in Circumstance
We've all been in a circumstance (or two) where we seem to believe that there will be no end and, despite our best efforts, will be impossible to get through. The real truth of our circumstance isn't found in what we can do but in what God can do. When circumstances shadow the horizon, remember that Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life," remember the One who calls Himself the Great I Am and consider this prayer:
Remember your internal mindset is more important than your external circumstances. Worship God even when you don't feel like it. He's faithful when life doesn't feel right. He's right when others aren't faithful. Expect God to live with you in the moment, not pull you out. Joy is a matter of what you're focusing on - is it on Jesus or the circumstance? Look at Jesus, who is bigger than the circumstance. - Amen
