God's will revealed through rolling the dice

 The 12 disciples are down a player because Judas betrayed Jesus, so they are choosing a new disciple.  They pray for the right man to be chosen, and then roll the dice.

I find this method of determining God;s will interesting.

This is the last time that casting lots is mentioned in the bible, perhaps because the Holy Spirit comes in the next chapter.  Acts 2
