The phrase that grabs me here is, "work assigned to me" because it makes me ask myself the question, what is the work that Christ has assigned to me? Not the work others say he has assigned - wHat has HE said?
Paul clearly understood he was to take the gospel to the Gentiles and poured his life into that assigned work. What is the assigned work God wants me to pour my life into?
