Deep Dive 14 - Day 1
Today, we talked About how many people take the ultimate risk everyday- not having a living, breathing relationship with God the Father. Some people may desire to have the relationship with God, but don't know that we are also called to have a relationship with other believers in Christ. This means that we should see church, youth group, and those other "Christian Thingys" as a part of our walk with Christ. This hit home with me because I feel like lately, as I've been seeking to learn more and more in God's Word, I've been getting less and less out of the "fellowship" that used to satisfy me. This means that in lately, I'm need to stop volunteering every Sunday in Children's Church, and probably see about joining some sort of youth group. The excuse that people will be " judgmental hypocrites won't cut it anymore. If God calls us to do something, when we honor Him by doing it, He will make it beautifully with our while. (an example is this am. I have a cold and have been out of school for 2 days. I haven't done a devotion in either two. I've felt sick, bogged down, and grumpy knowing all the homework and tests I'll have to make up when I get back. But by taking the time to read God's Word, I've found His peace and feel better than I have in a long time. Always know that when you put God before everything, He will put you exactly in the place where you should be (p.s. That is an awesome place)
