God-shaped, or not at all- Ephesians 3:17-19
When Lisa described a 'heart shaped cup' in your soul, I totally got it. I used to have one too. And every single day, i'd look for things to fill it. Some days it was food, some days it was material things, other days it was attention. But each and every time, I was looking to fill the space that should have been filled by God.
What changed for me? Ephesians 3:17-19. God doesn't want me to fill up on bad things. He wants me to be filled with the goodness of Him. That heart-shaped cup that used to ache for things that weren't good for me? Is now God-shaped. Only He can fill it.
It reminds me of this little toy my son used to have. It was a plastic ball with various shapes cut into it. The goal of the toy was for the child to figure out which shapes would fit into the hole. The round blocks fit into the round holes, the square blocks into the square, etc. This is how I now see my heart. If it's not something that is shaped by God, it doesn't fit.
Search your heart today, and see if there is anything that shouldn't be there. And watch how your life begins to change for the better!

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
